Maserati has recently been spotted testing their 'Cayenne killer' Levante. I'm guessing the headlights don't work, hence the lightbar.
I didn't think it was possible to make a crossover even more hideous than the Cayenne. I was wrong. So very wrong.

That's not a crossover... It's a sedan with a lift kit.

Exactly what I was going to say...they must be competing with the new Volvo S60 Cross Country and the old Subaru Outback sedan...
(Yes, I didn't mention the AMC Eagle...)

They're testing chassis/drivetrain.
The real body will be a lot closer to the Macan/Cayenne.

This. It's a test mule using the body of a Ghibli by the looks of things.

That's not actually how it's going to look. Just a mule.

Glad to see the Puma finally going into pre- production testing.

Jeez, how many years have they been claiming that this is coming, and all they did was add bigger springs to a Ghibli? Lol, Maserati.
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

That's now what it will look like... That's a ghibli with levante running gear. It's a disguise.

You do realise this is a Ghibli that's been jacked up (and had the roof heightened, by the looks of it)? It'll be on the same platform, so while they test the AWD and suspension and whatever else, they're just using a mule made from a Ghibli.
Jaguar did the same thing initially when developing the F-Pace:

Yes, but those are more lifted hatchbacks in my mind than lifted sedans...

Looks like a Maxima with 14" wheels.
